  1. Use the Define Server Connections dialog box to log onto available Servers and subscribe to Public Categories.

  4. Connected Servers scrolling list: Displays all Servers where you're logged on, if any.
  5.  
  6. Online checkbox: Check this box to send all offline edits to the Server and all new edits to the Server immediately. Leave the box empty to store all edits to Contacts on that Server locally.

  8. Status area: Displays status messages about the Server.
  9.  
  10. Last Update area: Displays the time of the last network poll.
  11.  
  12. Update Every pop-up menu: Select how often your Now Contact application checks the Public Contact Server for new Public Contacts or modifications to existing Public Contacts. Choose immediate, 30 seconds, 1, 5 (default), 10, 15, 30 minutes, or 1, 2 hours.

  14. Check categories to subscribe to; uncheck to remove from your Contact File scrolling list: Once you log onto a Server, check the Categories you want to include in or remove from your local Contact File.

  16. Alert when deleting contacts checkbox: Check this box to notify you when a Public Contact is deleted.

  18. Category Info, Contacts area: Displays any description attached to a selected Category and the number of Contacts.

  20. Add Server button: Click to add a Server to your list. Opens the Add/Locate dialog box.

  22. Locate Server button: Click to view a list of Public Contact Servers. Opens the Add/Locate dialog box.

  24. Remove button: Click to cancel your subscription to the selected Server.

  26. Update Now button: Click to immediately updates Public Contacts on the selected Server.
